gamescom 2024: be quiet! unveils new mainstream PC case series

New mainstream PC case series

Pure Base 501 targets users looking for a highly flexible case with compact dimensions who appreciate a timeless, traditional design without ARGB lighting. The case supports ATX, micro-ATX or mini-ITX motherboards, with cooling provided by two Pure Wings 3 140mm PWM fans at the front and rear of the case. It supports liquid-cooling radiators up to 360 mm, and Pure Base 501 also offers optional vertical graphics card mounting. A vibration-isolated dual HDD cage is included for flexible storage options, while the smart cable-routing design keeps the interior tidy. Like its predecessor, the Pure Base 501 is available in several versions: for maximum quietness, the case comes in black with a closed front and steel side panels. Versions focused on maximum airflow, featuring a mesh front and available with or without a glass side panel, come in black or white. The cases are scheduled for release in November and come with a 3-year manufacturer's warranty.

An illuminating look at the new Light product portfolio

Also on display at gamescom are the showcase-style Light Base 900 FX and Light Base 600 LX, Light Loop 360mm/240mm AIOs, and Light Wings LX 140mm and 120mm mainstream ARGB fans in regular and high-speed versions. All these ARGB-focused product series were introduced earlier this year at Computex in Taipei and received overwhelmingly positive feedback from the press and visitors. With launches scheduled for the third and fourth quarters of this year, these products are on show at gamescom, alongside a flexible way to invert a case in 30 seconds and the return of the classic desktop orientation. For more information on these products, see the English-language #LightHereLightNow press release.
